Alex - Registered Veterinary Technician
Raised in Etobicoke, Alex joined our team in June 1998. His career in the veterinary field started in November 1990 and he received the designation of Registered Veterinary Technician in November 1996. Alex brings experience to our team and feels blessed to be working with a group of dedicated professionals with whom he shares a high level of satisfaction at the end of the day.
During his free time, Alex and his wife Sandy enjoy wilderness camping, canoeing and do it yourself projects at home. Their home is shared with their three cats (Maxi, Pumpkin and Pepsi) and numerous tropical fish. His other interests include coin collecting, antiques, science and nature.
Alyshia - Reception
Alyshia has been with The Kingsway Animal Hospital for three and one half years. She enjoys all aspects of her job which includes interacting with pet owners and their furry family members. Alyshia feels very priviledged to work with such an amazing and dedicated team.
In her leisure, she enjoys spending time outside with her loveable dog Bernie.
Alyson - Hospital Manager
Growing up as the daughter of a veterinarian, Alyson has fond memories of coming to The Kingsway Animal Hospital after school to watch surgeries and visit with the animals. Although not a veterinarian herself, Alyson knew at a young age that she would work in the industry. Alyson has held many positions at The Kingsway Animal Hospital from part time animal care attendant to receptionist and now as hospital manager. She is a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association and regularly attends conferences and courses to keep her up to date with the latest developments. Alyson grew up in Etobicoke and continues to call it home, where she lives with her husband Alex, her two daughters Olivia and Ava and her dog Lola.

Kerry - Animal Care Attendant
Kerry grew up in the community of Etobicoke and joined The Kingsway Animal Hospital in 2007. Through Georgian College and the OSPCA, she has completed an Animal Care Worker Program, specializing in enforcement.
Kerry feels fortunate to be able to work so close to her passion for animals and with such a kind hearted staff.
One day, she aspires to become a registered Technician and eventually retire to a farm and run an animal sanctuary. For now, she lives with her two cats, Napoleon and Abracus, 'her boys'.
Margie- Registered Veterinary Technician
Margie graduated from Seneca College in 1998 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Since then, she has been working in small animal practice.
Through continuing education, Margie has received numerous specialty certificates including cytology, dentistry and anesthesia. She feels priviledged to be able to bring her expertise to The Kingsway Animal Hospital.
Margie lives with her husband John, their 15 year old cat Jetson, their 9 year old African Grey Parrot Kiziah and two backyard ponds filled with goldfish and koi.
Pattie - Registered Veterinary Technician
Pattie joined The Kingsway Animal Hospital team in 2005 after completing the veterinary technician program at Georgian College. She obtained her certificate of registration in January 2006. Pattie has also worked at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic from where she brings her experience to contribute to our team.
Most of all, Pattie enjoys interacting with clients and attending to the needs of their four legged family members.
In her free time, Pattie enjoys cooking, baking and decorating her home (our own little Martha!). She shares her home with three furry friends, two cats (Aly and Purina) and her dog, Dallas.
Peggy - Reception
Peggy's background includes a few exciting years living and studying in Manhattan and a passion for travel to exotic places most tourists tend to avoid.
Her inclination to rescue unfortunate dogs and cats led her to The Kingsway Animal Hospital where she works with our team to help even more pets than her home can hold. She feels very grateful to have been working with such a caring and dedicated group of people since 2004.
Peggy's current home menagerie includes Elton(a feisty Jack Russel Terrier), Mousse and Simon (two chihuahua buddies) and an eccentric cat named Webster.
